Borough of Perkasie recently issued the following announcement.
Borough Hall is open for essential business. Please use the drop box at the side of the building for electric and trash account payments and for all other routine mail. Paying your electric bill is easy online or by phone (call 844-278-1518). Please call 215-257-5065 with questions about other Borough administration.
The Borough of Perkasie is conducting a Public Hearing to consider and, if appropriate, adopt an Ordinance which would establish a Residential Infill Overlay District to encourage and regulate the development of rowhome-style dwellings within the district. Curbside brush chipping is scheduled for Wednesday August 4th. Please call Borough Hall at 215-257-5065 before 4pm on Friday July 30th add your address to the list.
Curbside paper & cardboard pickup is scheduled for Wednesday July 21st. Please flatten and bundle materials. NO PLASTIC BAGS.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT:
Borough trash bags are available at Borough Hall, Landis, the Olde Towne Convenience Store, and Giant locations in Souderton & Perkasie.
The Recycling Center is open to RESIDENTS of Perkasie Borough only.
BULK COLLECTION: Public Works will pick up one large item each week as part of your regular trash collection service. PLEASE EMAIL PUBLICWORKS@PERKASIEBOROUGH.ORG IF YOU HAVE AN APPLIANCE THAT NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP. Note, we will not collect TVs, computer monitors or items containing Freon.
Annual TRASH BILLS were due on 6/18/21. The annual trash fee of $50 is payable by each residence in addition to the pay-as-you-go trash bag fees or the toter fees. Please call Borough Hall with any questions.

PARKS AND RECREATION:

All Perkasie Borough PLAYGROUNDS are open to the public. We strongly recommend continuing precautions around social distancing, masking and hand hygiene. Please do not visit the playgrounds if you feel ill. Cover your cough. Playgrounds are high contact structures and are not sanitized. Play at your own risk.
We are accepting park and pavilion reservations for groups of under 250 people. Please email our Park and Recreation Department at parkandrec@perkasieborough.org with your request. Reminder, any gathering over 50 people needs Council approval, please submit your permit at least 45 days in advance.
The PERKASIE FARMERS MARKET is accepting applications from farms and local food producers for the 2021 season. Please click here for more information. The Market opened for the season on Saturday June 5th. 9am-12pm. 7th St.
