Traumatic events and adverse life experiences often result in mental or behavioral health issues and substance use. Both big and small traumas impact so much of how we operate, react, and move through our daily lives. As a community and as individuals, we must work together to stop the stigma surrounding addressing these issues, normalize the idea of being impacted by adverse life events, and start the conversation of where resources and support is available for those in need.
