Cairn University issued the following announcement.
At the start of the fall semester, Cairn University warmly welcomed new faculty members to the School of Education, the School Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Divinity.
Dr. Stacey Bose was appointed dean of the School of Education this summer. She joins Cairn University after extensive time spent teaching at various levels internationally, as well as in administrative roles at Liberty University. This multicultural experience gives Dr. Bose a unique understanding of many educational techniques, and she plans to implement this knowledge in her role to help form qualified and competent educators
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences welcomes Cayla Belser as an art instructor, teaching courses in foundational drawing and graphic design. Having earned her MS in Counseling and Art Therapy from Holy Family University, Belser has experience in a variety of art and mental health fields. She looks forward to finding ways to incorporate art therapy and through creative expression into college settings.
Dr. Stephen Bell, professor of chemistry, is also new to the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Dr. Bell earned his PhD in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh after having studied chemistry and north american studies at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. Along with his expertise in chemistry, he brings his extensive experience in chemical research, business leadership, and education.
Lastly, the School of Divinity welcomes Bob LaRocca as he moves from adjunct to part-time faculty. LaRocca has been teaching Intro to Philosophy at the University since 2017. He earned his ThM in Apologetics from Westminster Seminary and an MA in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America.
