Trinity Lutheran Church recently issued the following announcement.
Community Tapestry Faith Fellowship Event!
On June 26, 2021, the Perkasie Farmers Market hosted the first ever Pride event! At the festival, attendees were invited to add their fabric strip to the Community Tapestry; words of hope, prayer, inspiration, or remembrance.
These colorful strips have now been prepared for their next step. We will gather on Sunday, November 7th in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie, to assemble these into two artistic pieces. One piece will remain in Perkasie Borough Hall for years to come. The other will be auctioned off at the 2022 "Pride at the Farmers Market" to support the Rainbow Room, a local LGBTQ Youth Support facility.
Bring your needle and thread! All ages and all skill levels are invited to attend. Join us for five minutes, join us for two hours. Refreshments will be sponsored by Chimayo Gallery.
