Genbusiness001

Deep Run Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.

This year during the season of Lent as we journey together toward Easter, plan to join us for our 2022 Lenten Series:

“24 Hours That Changed the World”

This seven week book and video series will be guided by Pastor/Author Adam Hamilton as he takes us on a journey through the Holy Lands.  Pastor Hamilton will focus on the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life as we reflect on how those events have changed our lives.

The series starts with our Ash Wednesday Service in the Sanctuary on Wednesday, March 2 at 7:00pm w/ 6 Tuesdays on Zoom (Mornings or Evenings)

2022 Lenten Series Dates and Themes:

Week 1     Wednesday, March 2     The Last Supper (Ash Wednesday Service in the Sanctuary)

Week 2     Tuesday, March 8     The Garden of Gethsemane

Week 3     Tuesday, March 15     Condemned by the Righteous

Week 4     Tuesday, March 22     Jesus, Barabbas, and Pilate

Week 5     Tuesday, March 29     The Torture and Humiliation of the King

Week 6     Tuesday, April 5     The Crucifixion

You don’t have to have the book to participate in the weekly group sessions.  The videos will guide our discussions.  However, it will greatly enhance your input in the conversation if you have pre-read the chapter of the week.

You can order the book online through multiple sites or you can place an order with the church for $10.

To order your copy of the book through the church, please e-mail the church office: office@pcdeeprun.org
