Staats Announces Grants for Area Fire, EMS Companies

HARRISBURG - Representative Craig Staats (R-Bucks) has announced that several fire and EMS companies in the 145th District have received grants from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner (OSFC). These grants are aimed at supporting various projects such as the construction or renovation of facilities, equipment purchase or repair, training, and debt reduction.

The companies that have been awarded grants include Haycock Fire Co, Quakertown Volunteer Fire Company 1, West End Fire Company, Shelley Fire Company, Richlandtown Fire Company, Trumbauersville Fire Company, Upper Bucks EMS, and Grandview EMS. The grant amounts range from $10,000 to $16,951.99.

"I want to congratulate all of these fire companies and EMS service providers for being awarded these grants," said Staats. "Our first responders are some of our area's best, and I am thrilled to see them rewarded for their hard work in our communities by OFSC."
