Rep. Craig Staats from Bucks County has started his term for the 2025-26 Legislative Session after being sworn in on January 7. Staats announced his appointment as the Republican chairman of the newly established House Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations Committee. The committee is focused on enhancing communication and collaboration within Pennsylvania's governmental levels.
