As one of the best automotive training schools in Bucks County, Pennco Tech is continually working with local automotive industry leaders, through their advisory board, to discuss the newest up to date industry technology to ensure students get the training and experience they need to excel in their automotive technology program, allowing them to work with the newest technology found in today’s cars.
As vehicles become more technically advanced, the demand for highly skilled technicians continues to increase, especially in the greater Philadelphia region. The demand for specialized training is a necessity for aspiring automotive technicians, and the faculty and staff at Pennco Tech recognizes this growing need.
That is why Pennco Tech has formed a partnership with Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) to launch the new Mazda Automotive Program. This new program will help students become certified Mazda technicians and graduate with a Degree in Automotive Technology. Pennco Tech is one of only a few trade schools in the state of Pennsylvania to offer this degree.
Pennco Tech’s Mazda Automotive Program Overview
This program allows our students to enroll in the Mazda Automotive Program and become a certified Mazda technician and graduate with a Degree in Automotive Technology! This program was designed and created with the intent to educate, train, and prepare automotive graduates with the skills necessary to excel as a technician at a Mazda dealership. It is Mazda’s goal for graduates of this program to find successful, long-term careers and stability in the Mazda dealer network and become part of the Mazda family.
What Makes the Program Different?
Mazda has donated three vehicles, provided specialized tooling and equipment, and has trained Pennco Tech instructors in Mazda technology to ensure students receive advanced manufacturer-specific training so they can begin their new career as a Mazda automotive technician. Additionally, Mazda will provide current model year vehicles rotated out annually for current year technology. This program provides Pennco Tech students with extensive training on various Mazda vehicles, and at the end of their training they are recruited by our local Mazda dealerships.
Special Incentives of the Mazda Automotive Program:
• Our Bristol Campus offers a Degree Automotive Technology program, only one of a few in the state of Pennsylvania
• Provide hands-on training from a Mazda certified Pennco Tech Instructor
• Paid internship while attending the program
• Tuition reimbursement incentive of $5,000 per year (The maximum payout will be the balance of the student loan not exceeding 3 years or $15,000)
• Eligibility to drive a new Mazda as a personal vehicle via Mazda PURSUIT* DRIVE**
*PURSUIT is Mazda’s rewards and recognition platform for Mazda Dealership employees.
**DRIVE is designed to help Mazda Dealership employees get behind the wheel and experience the exhilaration of driving. Eligible Mazda Dealership employees who lease or purchase a new Mazda will be eligible for reimbursement of up to $250 per month.
