Just Announced: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo

Borough of Quakertown issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.

Rock ‘n’ roll powerhouse duo Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo join the 2022 Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto. Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will perform on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown.

Tickets will be available on QuakertownEvents.com beginning Friday, April 8 at 10:00 am. Both reserved seating and lawn tickets are available online. Tickets start at $40.00 for lawn seating and reserved seats range from $50.00 to $135.00 depending on the seat location.

Pat Benatar’s staggering vocals and take-no-prisoners attitude, along with Neil Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as a guitarist, producer and songwriter forged the undeniable chemistry and unique sound that created some of rocks most memorable hits including We Belong, Invincible, Love Is A Battlefield, Promises In The Dark, We Live For Love, Heartbreaker and Hell Is For Children. Together they have created two multi-platinum, five platinum and three gold albums, as well as nineteen Top 40 hits. They have sold over thirty million records worldwide and have won an unprecedented four consecutive GRAMMY® awards. Their rock and roll love affair has endured for more than three and a half decades. Pat and Neil continue to tour, selling out concerts everywhere. Their chemistry will undoubtedly be thrilling music fans forever.

The Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto features a variety of artists from country, classic rock, pop, and more. Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will complete the Sounds of Summer Concert Series announcements as they join the already announced Happy Together Tour (June 15), multi-platinum country music star Scotty McCreery (July 8), heavy metal bands Queensrÿche and Great White (July 15), country legends Rodney Atkins and Diamond Rio (August 20), and Philadelphia rock band The Hooters (August 26).

Artist who have performed in recent summers include one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful bands of all time The Beach Boys, three-time Grammy nominee Trace Adkins, legendary front man of Mötley Crüe Vince Neil, and other world-class entertainers.

The intimate and scenic venue offers exceptional views from every location, either in the lawn area or in a reserved seat. The Univest Performance Center can comfortably accommodate 3,000 people while providing all essential amenities such as restrooms, concessions, libations, merchandise, plenty of parking, and is ADA compliant. From June to August there's no better place to enjoy a summer concert than under the stars at the Univest Performance Center.
