Borough of Riegelsville issued the following announcement on May 19.
President Thomas E. Stinnett called the special meeting of the Riegelsville Borough Council to order at 7:45 pm May 18, 2022. If anyone makes inappropriate comments, tries to sell something, is attacking someone, etc. you will be removed from this meeting.
The Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call: PRESENT: Thomas Stinnett, Ed Bartosiewicz, Gary Chase, Rodney Scott and Mayor Stokes. Others present: Frank Preedy- Borough EMC, 3 Borough residents.
T. Stinnett, Council President has a copy of the Special meeting ad that was in the Express times May 16 and on lehighvalleylive.com.
T. Stinnett, Council President: Tonight Borough Council shall consider and, if appropriate, vote the following:
1. Elmwood Lane/Bidwell Lane Road Project.
Borough Council discussed the cost estimate during tonight’s Utilities meeting. E. Bartosiewicz motioned to approve Cowan’s construction cost estimate $123.395.91. G. Chase seconded. Unanimous. T. Stinnett stated Cowan will move forward with this project.
2. Edgewood Water Main Project.
Borough Council discussed the material contract amount during tonight’s Utilities meeting. R. Scott approved awarding LB Water materials contract Option 2 ($15,487.32) and Alternate 1 contract installation of the two valves ($4,325.00). G Chase seconded. Unanimous.
